PUBLIC NOTICE BLECKLEY COUNTY VOTERS
VOTING DATES ADVANCE IN PERSON AND ABSENTEE BY MAIL
REQUEST FOR THE MAY 19, 2026 GENERAL PRIMARY ELECTION/NON PARTISAN ELECTION
Advance in Person Voting will begin Monday, April 27 thru Friday, May 15, 2026. (Hours: 8:30a.m.-5:00 p.m.) Saturday Voting dates: May 2 and May 9 (Hours 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) All Advance Voting will be held at the Board of Elections and Registration Office 106 E Cherry Street Cochran, Ga. 31014 (Courthouse Annex). There will also on the ballot for all qualified voters of Bleckley County to vote the following question: "Shall the governing authority of Bleckley County be authorized to issue licenses to sell distilled spirits by the drink to restaurants for consumption at the restaurant?"
Voters can begin to request an Absentee by mail application now until Friday May 8th. The last day to register to vote in the May 19, 2026 General Primary/Non Partisan Election is April 20th.
Election Day voting is May 19, 2026. Polls will be open 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Election Day location the Jaycee Barn (290 Ash St.). Should a runoff be required, such runoff will be held June 16, 2026. For more information on testing /or your voter registration status, contact the

LOGIC AND ACCURACY TESTING PUBLIC NOTICE
Pursuant to OCGA § 21-2-379.25, notice is hereby given that the logic and accuracy testing and preparation of voting equipment to be used in May 19, 2026, General Primary Election/Non Partisan Election, both Election Day and Advanced Voting, will begin Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Testing will continue from day to day until complete and members of the public are entitled to be present during testing. Said testing and preparation will begin at the Jaycee Barn located at 290 Ash Street, Cochran, GA 31014, and will continue from day to day and hour to hour as necessary.

EARLY PROCESSING OF ABSENTEE BALLOTS PUBLIC NOTICE
Pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-2-386(a)(2)(A), notice is hereby given that the Bleckley County Election Superintendent intends to begin early processing of absentee ballots cast in the General Primary Election/Nonpartisan Election to be held on May 19, 2026, beginning Monday, May 18, 2025, at 1:00 pm. Processing will continue from day to day and hour to hour until complete and members of the public are entitled to be present during processing. Said processing will begin in the Office of the Bleckley County Board of Elections and Registration located at 106 E Cherry Street, Cochran, GA 31014 (Courthouse Annex) and be completed at the Jaycee Barn located at 290 Ash Street, Cochran, GA 31014. The early processing of absentee ballots before the closing of the polls shall be a controlled process in order to maintain the secrecy of all ballots and to protect against the collection or disclosure of any balloting information before the close of the polls at 7:00 P.M. on Election Day.

NOTICE OF COMPUTATION OF RETURNS
Pursuant to OCGA § 21-2-492, notice is hereby given that the Bleckley County Election Superintendent intends to commence and hold computation and canvassing of returns for the General Primary Election/Non Partisan Election to be held on May 19,2026 beginning Tuesday, May 19, 2026, after polls close at 7:00 pm. Computation and canvassing will continue until complete and members of the public are entitled to be present during that process. Said computation and canvassing will be conducted at the Jaycee Barn located at 290 Ash Street, Cochran, GA 31014.

The Bleckley County Board of Elections and Registration oversees voter registration and election processes in Bleckley County, Georgia. The board consists of three members: Rene Yawn, Annette Wyche, and William Faircloth Jr., each serving four-year terms. The Election Supervisor, Cheryl Ates, manages daily election operations and serves at the board's pleasure. The board ensures fair, transparent, and efficient elections in compliance with state and federal laws.
