Notice is hereby given that a recount of votes cast in the May 19, 2026 Republican General Primary Election for the Public Service Commission district 3 race will begin on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at the Jaycee Barn located at 290 Ash Street, Cochran, Georgia. Logic and Accuracy testing will take place on Wednesday June 17, 2026. Recounting will begin immediately afterwards and will continue until complete. All members of the public are entitled to be present during testing.

LOGIC AND ACCURACY TESTING PUBLIC NOTICE
Pursuant to OCGA § 21-2-379.25, notice is hereby given that the logic and accuracy testing and preparation of voting equipment to be used in June 16, 2026, General Primary/Nonpartisan Runoff Election, both Election Day and Advanced Voting, will begin Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. Testing will continue from day to day until complete and members of the public are entitled to be present during testing. Said testing and preparation will begin at the Jaycee Barn located at 290 Ash Street, Cochran, GA 31014, and will continue from day to day and hour to hour as necessary.

Pursuant to OCGA § 21-2-379.25, notice is hereby given that the logic and accuracy testing and preparation of voting equipment to be used for the Recount for the contest of the Republican Public Service Commissioner District 3 from the May 19, 2026 General Primary Nonpartisan Election be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 will begin at 9:00 a.m. Testing will continue until complete. All members of the public are entitled to be present during testing. Said testing and preparation will begin at the Jaycee Barn located at 290 Ash Street, Cochran, GA 31014, and will continue from day to day and hour to hour as necessary.

EARLY PROCESSING OF ABSENTEE BALLOTS PUBLIC NOTICE
Pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-2-386(a)(2)(A), notice is hereby given that the Bleckley County Election Superintendent intends to begin early processing of absentee ballots cast in the General Primary/Nonpartisan Runoff Election to be held on June 16, 2026, beginning Monday, June 15, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Processing will continue from day to day and hour to hour until complete and members of the public are entitled to be present during processing. Said processing will begin in the Office of the Bleckley County Board of Elections and Registration located at 106 Cherry Street, Cochran, GA 31014 (Courthouse Annex) and be completed at the Jaycee Barn located at 290 Ash Street, Cochran, GA 31014. The early processing of absentee ballots before the closing of the polls shall be a controlled process in order to maintain the secrecy of all ballots and to protect against the collection or disclosure of any balloting information before the close of the polls at 7:00 P.M. on Election Day.

NOTICE OF COMPUTATION OF RETURNS
Pursuant to OCGA § 21-2-492, notice is hereby given that the Bleckley County Election Superintendent intends to commence and hold computation and canvassing of returns for the General Primary/Nonpartisan Runoff Election to be held on June 16, 2026 beginning Tuesday, June 16, 2026, after polls close at 7:00 pm. Computation and canvassing will continue until complete and members of the public are entitled to be present during that process. Said computation and canvassing will be conducted at the Jaycee Barn located at 290 Ash Street, Cochran, GA 31014.

The Bleckley County Board of Elections and Registration oversees voter registration and election processes in Bleckley County, Georgia. The board consists of three members: Rene Yawn, Annette Wyche, and William Faircloth Jr., each serving four-year terms. The Election Supervisor, Cheryl Ates, manages daily election operations and serves at the board's pleasure. The board ensures fair, transparent, and efficient elections in compliance with state and federal laws.
